A large, post-spawn and dying male brookie comes from a small WV stream in October. It took a greased muddler and barely fought...dorsal fin rotting away. I never felt so sorry for a fish.

White Bass fishin' in Halifax Co., Virginia. Around 45 - 50 fish where caught. Rapala SR5 was the hot lure. But we also caught some on 1/16oz and 1/8oz rooster tails, chartreuse/gold and white/silver colors. I was fishing with my trusty, multipurpose ultra-lite with 6lb Spiderwire.
