The AntHillBillies are a 4 piece acoustic ensemble with an exciting arrangement of songs & styles featuring Bluegrass, Country, Rockabilly. Rock and Roll and Australiana, (all with a hillbilly influence). Lead singer and rhythm guitarist, Peter Clarke, has lived and played in the local area for many years concentrating on corporate & function work and is one of the finest pickers in the region. Our mandolin and harmonica player, Bryce Wearne, has been playing music in the local area for 17 years and is most famous for his time with Bettathanna Chookraffle, as well as performing for many corporate events in various line-ups. On the banjo and mandolin is Michael Lee who has been playing various string instruments for the last 11 years. Double bass player Mahney Wearne is passionate about this monstrous instrument, and plays with style and ease after many years on the piano.
