The UY is always a lot of fun. After one of the best stretches of class III whitewater anywhere, the UY starts in earnest at Bastard. This set of ledges always gets the blood pumping and signals the starts of a five mile long slalom course of boulder gardens and powerful ledge drops.

It was a good spring for surfing on the Potomac. Center Chute, Rocky Island, and yes, first wave of O-Deck. This is one of the finest surfing waves anywhere. Enjoy a look at Tiny Tim shredding it up.

There's nothing like "breaking in" a new boat. After an exciting run down the fish ladder proper, Tiny Tim and Dirty Doug decided to fire up the Back Channel. The fun didn't stop there as Tim "decided" to paddle all the way down to Anglers to cap off the day.
