*STORY IN DESCRIPTION* Friday was spent as an all-girls (plus Jason) day at the mall. As excited as she was about her date, Steffi refused to tell Allie or Lucy about it. She had a feeling that as soon as she would bring it up, her two friends would go crazy and try to buy her the entire mall. Instead, the four of them had a late-ish lunch in the Food Court and split up afterwards—Lucy with Allie and Jason with Steffi. Jason dragged Steffi off to where the Charlotte Russe, Forever 21 and Urban Outfitters stores were. Normally, Steffi would have gone straight to Urban Outfitters, but that day, she was drawn to the dresses offered at the more 'girly' of the stores. Jason, who was already halfway to Urban Outfitters, looked back over his shoulder in time to see Steffi disappear into Forever 21. He followed her in and found her looking at a couple dresses. "Ok, what's with you? Normally I have to bribe you to get within 50 feet of this store, much less look at a dress." Steffi merely shrugged, a smile sheepishly forming on her face. Jason grabbed a couple more dresses and thrust them into her hands while pushing her towards the dressing rooms. Steffi took one look at the dress on the top of the pile and made a face. "Jason, seriously? You want me to try this on?" "Uh, yeah. When you're out on your date, you need to look hot." "Well, duh, that's a given. But this dress? It shows like...everything. Joe's going to think I'm a complete skank if I wear this." Steffi stopped walking as she realized what she said. Jason's mouth dropped open. He said slowly in an awed voice, "You have a date with Joe Jonas?" "Um, maybe?" "And you didn't tell me?" He grabbed the dress and hung it back up before turning to Steffi, expecting an explanation. Steffi stuttered, "See, Jason, the thing is—" She was interrupted by her phone going off. She promptly dumped her armload of clothes in a dressing room and pulled out her phone, answering it in one fluid movement. "Yo yo yiggedy yo, what's up?" Jason started laughing but quickly turned it into a cough when faced with a glare from her. "Triple yo to the double yo. [AN: haha if only Bob was here] Not much actually, I'm on my lunch break. We're starting to plan out our tour stuff. Where are you right now?" "Oh, yeah, cuz that's nothing at all. I'm out shopping with Jason." "That sounds fun." "Stop being sarcastic, that's my job." "Sure. Have you gotten anything for tomorrow?" "What's so special about tomorrow?" she asked innocently. Jason looked up at her and mouthed, 'The date's tomorrow!?!' She nodded back and giggled as Jason slammed his hand against his forehead and walked off to find an outfit for her. "Seriously, you forgot?" Joe asked incredulously. "No. I've looked at a couple things, but I don't want to buy anything yet because I don't know what I'm supposed to wear." In the background, Steffi could hear someone yelling, '5 minutes Joe!' He sighed. "Steffi, I'm sorry but I've got to go. I'll see you tomorrow at 7." "But—" "Don't worry, anything's fine. Just dress up a little." "Ok. Later." Joe hung up and closed his eyes, gathering himself before heading back out with his brothers to talk to the tour manager. As soon as Steffi put up her phone, Jason pushed her into a dressing room. They were joined in Forever 21 by Lucy and Allie, who helped her pick out the perfect outfit.
