This is The Two Wheel Deal. It was built for ECE477 - Digital Systems Senior Design in Spring of 2008. The team consisted of: Greg Eakins Eric Geier Pete Dudash Jeremy Gries This was custom built from the ground up. The control algorithm uses a PD controller, with a dual axis accelerometer and a gyroscopic angular rate sensor being used to detect the tilt angle and the tilt rate respectively. The PCBs for the microprocessor board and both motor controller boards were designed by us in Orcad Layout and fabricated by Advanced Circuits.
