RECAP: Nick went to find Bailey, who was packing Nick: How could you leave? And why are you in Alex's room? [She looked up and saw that he was on the verge of tears] Bailey: I'm sorry, Nick. [Already tearing up] But I can't stay here any longer. And Alex still has some of my tops, I sorta want them back. Nick: Why? I need you here, we can help eachother getting over Alex and J- Bailey: [Didn't want to hear Joe's name] You have Kevin, remember? Nick: It's not the same. He's not going through this, he's with Jamie. [Tears were welling up in his eyes] What can I do to make you stay? Bailey: [Her voice was barely above a whisper] Nothing. [She looked down and a tear stain appeared on one of her shirts] Nick: Wait. I can't do anything to make you stay but Kevin can, he's your guardian, he can make you stay! [Nick sounded childish but he was desperate, he couldn't let his best friend leave him] Bailey: [She shook her head] He's letting me go. I already talked to him. Nick: But why? Bailey: [She shrugged] I've stayed long enough. I've done my damage. Nick: Then what can I do for you before you go? Bailey: [She stopped, and looked up] There's just one thing I want to get before I go and this seems to be a good time. Nick: Whatever it is, just name it. Bailey: A kiss from you? [Nick leaned in and kissed her a short semi-passionate kiss] Bailey: [Wiped her cheek from the tears, and sniffled] I gotta finish packing. [Looked down at her bag] Nick: I gotta go... make my bed. Bailey: [Smiled despite the situation] Way to make something up. Stay in here with me. Nick: Ok. Besides if I go out there, Joe will laugh at me for crying. [Bailey looked and saw tears rolling down his face] Bailey: Don't cry, I'll come back on holidays. Nick: It's not good enough. [He shook his head and sat down, knees pulled in on his chest and arms wrapped around them. He watched Bailey move around in the room, gathering her things and putting them in her suitcase. Bailey's phone beeped with a text message. Bailey took a look at her phone, sighed and threw it back down on the bed. Nick took it off the bed and opened her inbox. The text was from Alex, and it read:] Alex's Text: Bailey, I'm not the one to blame for all this. [Nick read the text message aloud to Bailey, and he replied for her] Nick's Text: If not you, then who? Alex's Text: I didn't want to kiss him in the first place, you said I could go into the room with Joe. Nick's Text: But you broke up with Nick for Joe. [He made sure to talk in Bailey's point of view] Alex's Text: I wouldn't have if you made me not go into the room with Joe! Nick's Text: I expected you not to do anything like what you did do. Now Nick's hurt and it's all your fault. Alex's Text: One, that's not my fault! And two you're making me seem like the bad guy here! Nick's Text: You are! You hurt so many people! Alex's Text: Joe did too! I wasn't the only one who left somebody! Nick's Text: I know I'm mad at him too! But you mostly! Alex's Text: OMG! Why!?!? Nick's Text: You know why!! Don't act as stupid as you are! Alex's Text: What's that suppose to mean? Nick's Text: Figure it out! I got to go! [He closed the phone and turned it off] Bailey: What did Alex want? Nick: She tried to apologize. Bailey: Why does she think I will just forgive her and forget what she did? [She threw a shirt onto the suit case] Nick: I don't know. [He shook his head and looked at her] Bailey I'm gonna ask one last time. Please, please [He closed his eyes when he said his last please] stay. I need you here. You're really the only one here who understands me, so I need you! Bailey: Nick, you know that I can't stay. I have to go. I have to go and be some where else. I can't stay here. Nick: Well, where are you going? Bailey: To live with my dad in Orlando. Nick: But Kevin became your guardian so you wouldn't have to. Bailey: I know but that was before. [She sat on the bed next to Nick and put her arm around him] Nick: Bailey, you're the only one who understands me. I've never cried in front of my brothers before, but I don't feel weird crying in front of you. Bailey: Nick, you're making me feel guilty about leaving you now. Nick: Sorry. I just... just don't want you to leave. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ NOTE: Tessa's at camp and she won't be back till mid-August, so there won't be anymore WMC for a bit, sorry =[.
