(Part 1) [A Lizzie Quote To Bill] [Subtitle: Ava's Ultrasound: It's A Boy!] Scenes From GL On June 11th 2008 Bill arrives at the ball park and watches his father cheering on the kids as they play. He wishes his father would be cheering him on more. He tells his father that he just saved Lewis and he should be proud of him. Billy tells him that this power grab is a big mistake. Bill reminds him that half the town is named after Spaulding but soon that could change to Lewis. "At the end of the day, you'll have everything named after you but what will you come home to?" Billy asks. Ava, Bill answers. She's the only person who seems happy for him. Billy tells his son that he wants him to be happy, but he needs to go back to a simpler time; it's not too late. "I won't make the same mistakes you did," Bill shrugs as he walks off. Remy goes to check on Ava in her room. She tells him that things are fine with "little Billy" and he's being very cute. Remy hopes Bill knows how lucky he is. They start looking through his study program he's enrolled in. Bill interrupts and Remy soon decides to leave. Bill sits down with Ava and talks to her about wanting to be a good daddy. He's sure that everything will be fine and he wants the kid to have a real family. She reminds him that she has an ultrasound today. He's arranged for a car for her and will see her at Cedars. Lizzie goes to see her grandfather at the boarding house. He tells her that he's sure he felt Gus' hand when the roof fell. Alan goes on to explain that he's been feeling Gus' presence. It sounds to her like he misses all of his sons. She tells him if Gus is prowling around, it must be a sign that he should change his ways. Alan doesn't know if he can forgive himself for the way he's let down the family and the company. She tells him to take it easy; this is her time to take control of the family and make anyone who messes with them sorry. On Main Street, Bill runs into Remy and tells him to spend less time with Ava. Remy starts quizzing him on what he even knows about Ava. Bill clearly doesn't know anything. Bill snipes at him for living off his sister Dinah. "Just take care of Ava okay," Remy grumbles as he walks off. Lizzie goes to see Billy. They hug. He wants her to talk to his son. She doesn't think he'll ever listen to her and she can't trust him. Billy says he's just confused. "He's poison," she says. How many times is she supposed to let him roll over her? She won't save him and she couldn't do it without losing herself. If he wants to influence his son, he should be bonding with Ava, she suggests. Bill rushes over to Cedars for Ava's ultrasound.
