After their unauthorized spacewalk to the outer hull of Mothership Mt. Chimborazo, John Kohoutek and Hadley Rille N'apali sit in one of their favorite spots: an area near the raintanks, makeshift condensers for gathering fresh water in the post-disaster world of the ship, that Johnny has converted into a hydroponics garden. The two young astros share a whimsical moment together, and we get a sense of Hadley's lyrical approach to astronomy and life, on a ship where there is precious little of either.
