*PLEASE READ FIRST!* Lily Evans and Severus Snape met many years ago when they were children and they became fast friends. As they grow up together their friendship only gets stronger and eventually turns into love. However, Severus and Lily begin growing in different directions. Sadly, their friendship fades. Snape follows his fellow Slytherins on the path toward darkness and Lily follows her heart to James Potter. Severus' love for Lily never dies, however, and he is perpetually tormented by her memory after her death. *Clip editing explained bellow...* Clips: - : Snape and Lily walking through the corridors of school talking/arguing. She had thick, dark red hair that fell to her shoulders and startlingly green almond-shaped eyes -- Harry's eyes. Harry's mother... 'All right, Evans?' said James, and the tone of his voice was suddenly pleasant, deeper, more mature. 'You think you're funny,' she said coldly. 'But you're just an arrogant bullying toerag, Potter. Leave him ALONE.' " (pg. 647 -- Order of the Phoenix) "James sighed deeply, then turned to Snape and muttered the countercurse. " (pg. 648 -- Order of the Phoenix) - : Snape is told that Voldemort plans to get rid of the Potters and he is torn between his love and his duties as a Death Eater. Based on: " '...thought we were supposed to be friends?' Snape was saying. 'Best friends? 'We are Sev, but I don't like some of the people you're hanging round with!' " (pg. 673 -- Deathly Hallows) " 'I know James Potter's an arrogant toerag,' she said, cutting across Snape. 'I don't need you to tell me that. But Mulciber's and Avery's idea of humor is just evil. EVIL, Sev. I don't understand how you can be friends with them.' " (pg. 674 -- Deathly Hallows) " 'I don't need help from filthy little Mudbloods like her!' Lily blinked. 'Fine,' she said cooly. 'I won't bother in future. And I'd wash your pants if I were you, Snivellus.' " (pg. 648 -- Order of the Phoenix) " 'I was. I would have done. I never meant to call you Mudblood, it just --' 'Slipped out?' There was no pity in lily's voice. 'It's too late. I've made excuses for you for years.
