Some older gas pumps can't list a price over $3.99.9. Joe Hammond, owner of Crazy Joe's Hardin Ridge Trading Post, already shut off his premium pumps. He'll be done selling gas when 87-octane hits $4. When gas went above $3, he had to retrofit his pumps. He's not doing that again.
