I met Tom Hawk sometime in 2007. He purchased my "Mike Johnson Yodeling 40 Years" CD and told me that he was inspired by the "America's Got Talent" yodeling sensation, Taylor Ware. Tom is a Manaement Professor at the Frostburg University in Western Maryland, just opposite the West Virginia State Line. We communited constantly by email and telephone, trying to set up a date to hit the Occoquan Coffee House in Occoquan, Virgina. I believe my friend Bart Plantenga [the yodeling expert from the Netherlands] got us connected. After a few mean misses, we finally coordinated a date and Tom came down to the Coffee House. This is the 3rd and final presentation of 3 segments, as I wanted to present Tom's total performance. For someone who only started yodeling about a year ago, I think he's done a damn good job! And, I didn't want to miss his Coffee House debut! Mike Johnson bio, CDs, MP3 downloads at http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/mikejohnson
