While swimming with a pod of whales, I noticed i was getting a little too close to them, so i looked back to see where the boat was (over 90 yards away). I signaled for them to come get me. As soon as i looked back at the whales underwater, i seen one of their tales whip; followed by a white cloud of bubbles. I braced myself for what I thought would be some kind of turbulence underwater,but I didn't feel a thing. I knew by then it was time to get out. I feel lucky to have been that close to the whales during that breaching without being injured. Quite the adrenaline rush.
