It was 65 years today 16th May 2008 that Avro Lancaster Bombers of the 617 Squadron bombed several dams in Germany. The memorial flight was over Howden and Derwent Dams, part of Ladbower Resevoir. The flights took place at 10:30am, making 3 successive passes.
