Dogpatch district in San Francisco between the years 1920 to 1970 was the 'white trash' and/or 'okie' section of SF, CA. Federal Urban Renewal finished that in the mid 70's and the yuppsters and the dotcoms have enthusiastically flooded in, at incredible high prices$$, to this once semi-seedy, semi-industrial neighborhood lying between 3rd St. on east, 23 St. on south, Indiana St. on west and 19th St. on north. Main geographic points of reference is it sits in eastside lee of 280 Fwy and at the base of the east slope of Potrero Hill downslope from the Potrero Hill Projects and almost tucked under the 280 Fwy on its west edge.
