Another piece documenting the effect of Cannabis on a person under conditions which require a great deal of attention and quick reflexes. This video uses Project Gotham Racing 4 to show us what happens to a driver when they are on Cannabis. Same driver is used, once while sober, once when high. The T1 is used for this test, at Las Vegas, on the Spring Mountain Turns course. The driver while Sober consistently runs lap times in the 46-45 second range, with very little in the way of touching the wall. While sober, the driver placed a time that was ranked #137 on the X-box Live leaderboard. While under the influence of THC, the driver was more prone to slamming into walls [especially that on the inside], and braked earlier, possibly trying to compensate for their intoxication. The driver was also a little smoother on the gas when leaving a turn, to avoid having to correct a drift, as you can see in latter parts of the video, when the intoxicated driver enters a drift, he tends to overcorrect, and either lose control, or has to majorly slow down. Though the Driver under the influence does post a time of 45 seconds, his other laps are not consistent, which allows the Sober driver to finish his laps before the intoxicated one.
