www.kbb.com Founded in the year 2000 by the racer/tuner for whom the original MINI Cooper was named, John Cooper Works was absorbed by BMW/MINI in 2007. The first JCW MINI since that transaction will feature a choice of sporty, sportier and sportiest suspension setups, lighter wheels, bigger brakes, an electronic brake differential, and a modified Cooper S engine good for 207 horsepower and 192 pound-feet of torque (207 pound-feet available via brief overboost). According to MINI, the hardtop will reach 62 mph from a stop in 6.5 seconds, the Clubman in 6.8. Look for it in August 2008 starting at $28,550 ($30,800 for the Clubman). Kelley Blue Book's Micah Muzio walks around the JCW Clubman with MINI's Jim McDowell. For more new car reviews, interviews and automotive news visit kbb.com today.
